My favorite song is "As I Approach Your Throne" it is on my regular webpage here at Indie Gospel. When I recorded that song, I had had major surgery with them removing my Esophegus and 1/2 my stomach. It was hard to sing for 6 months and finally I was able to sing 3 or 4 notes and with practice it got to where I could almost sing normally. If you listen carefully to the end of the song "As I Approach Your Throne" you will hear me crack my voice. I was singing from the heart because at the time I didn't know if I was going to live through the week at the time. My body was going down hill really fast. But the Lord gave me a mission that kept me focused on the mission instead of my health and it got better! He had me write a real Full Length Movie using all 4 Gospels on the Life of Jesus Christ.. Everything in the movie is scriptural! There are some amazing discoveries which I bring out in the movie.... anyways thank you so much for the nice compliment on "Jesus - You Got Me" Blessings James
Hi James, thank you for bringing us such a beautiful song. I just love this song so much and you certainly got me, pardon the pun, but the tune of this is so magnetic to me and listening to the lyrics it really does get to me. This song somehow reaches deep inside to your inner most core and brings you to a level of understanding about how powerful and moving Jesus is in all he does for us each and every day of our lives. I'm so glad your song became number 1, it was certainly well deserved and myself and many more people, I'm sure, look forward to more great songs from you in the future. God Bless you and take care! JP
