James 1

I had just left my job after 6 years. A quick descent after a long climb. It was the worst year of my life where I had lost my wife and marriage. My kids were devastated over the breakup with my 9 yr old son being suspended from school almost weekly.

I had spent many nights curled up right here on my living room floor. All I could do was just sing and worship. It was during that time when God gave me the scripture, James 1 where it says

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything “
