WHAT IS YOUR MOUNTAIN?

 

 

MATTHEW 21:²¹Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.  ²²And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

 

WHAT IS YOUR MOUNTAIN?  IS IT CANCER OR SOME ILLNESS, POVERTY OR LACK, STRESS OR DEPRESSION OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE?  IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE WHATEVER IT IS, YOU HAVE POWER OVER IT.  TELL THAT CANCER OR ILLNESS TO GO, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!  TELL THAT POVERTY OR LACK TO LEAVE YOU, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!  TELL THAT STRESS OR DEPRESSION THAT IT HAS NO POWER OVER YOU, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!   JESUS IS TELLING YOU TO USE YOUR FAITH AND VOICE TO GET RID OF WHATEVER IS BOTHERING YOU. 

 

DO YOU THINK IT IS STRANGE TO TALK TO YOUR PROBLEMS?  JESUS SPOKE TO THE FIG TREE AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO IT.   MATTHEW 21:¹⁸Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. ¹⁹And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. ²⁰And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!   THIS WAS WHEN HE WAS RETURNING TO JERUSALEM FROM BETHANY.  HE HAD COME TO JERUSALEM FOR THE FEAST AND FOUND THE JEWS SELLING LIVESTOCK IN THE TEMPLE.  HE DROVE THEM OUT AND WENT TO BETHANY FOR THE NIGHT.  THE NEXT MORNING, WHEN HE SAW THE FIG TREE, AND HE WAS HUNGRY, HE KNEW THAT WHEN THE TREE HAS LEAVES, IT HAS TO HAVE FIGS. HOWEVER, THIS ONE DID NOT AND WAS CORRUPT SO JESUS GOT RID OF THE CORRUPTION...NAMELY, THE FIG TREE. 

 

SO, IF JESUS CAN TALK TO A FIG TREE, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM WITH TALKING TO YOUR "MOUNTAIN"?  HE PLAINLY TELLS US TO "SAY" TO OUR "MOUNTAIN".   TALK TO THOSE PROBLEMS AND TELL THEM TO LEAVE YOU.  THEY HAVE NO POWER OVER YOU UNLESS YOU LET THEM.  IF WE DIDN'T HAVE THAT POWER, WHY WOULD JESUS EVEN TELL US "IT SHALL BE DONE"? 

 

IF YOU ARE STILL CONCERNED ABOUT TALKING TO YOUR PROBLEMS, I WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER SCRIPTURE THAT MAKES IT PLAIN WHAT JESUS WILL DO IN ANY CASE.  (JOHN 14:¹³And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.)  NOTICE THAT HE SAYS IT TWICE, ONE AFTER THE OTHER.  HE REALLY MEANS IT.  JUST HAVE FAITH AND BELIEVE IT.
