MY DOCTOR VISITS TODAY RETURNED 2 GOOD REPORTS!
Today (May 11th) I had 2 appointments with (1st) my Pain Management Doctor, and then (2nd) my Regular Doctor. The reports from both were good. I am mending great from the surgeries, and also I am mending from the fall I had last Friday night. In that fall I broke a rib, but it is mending fine and I am getting better daily. I just have to be careful and not try to do things too fast. I guess that one of my greatest faults is my impatiences, and that has always got the best of me through the…See More

All I can say is, “Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow!” Have you ever gone through a day so bad that at the end of the day you’re just happy you made it through the day? That probably best describes today! My pain level was off the chart, and most of the day I felt so low that I could have sat flat on the floor, and still hung my legs down. First, my physical therapist came out and put me through a simulated exercise workout. I could only do about 1/3 of them. Then my aide that came out…See More

RECOVERING!
I had the surgery this Friday (the 13th of April). It was more difficult than was expected, and took longer than expected. The good news was that I went through it fine (no A-Fib attacks, and woke up good also). Bad news was that I didn't tolerate the anesthesia well, and was nauseated all of Friday night, and ,most of the day Saturday. I am now under Home-Health Care for the next 6 weeks. Also, I am NOT able to get up very good yet, so I won't be online much for a few weeks. Hopefully this…See More

The last 3 weeks have left a reality in my mind that I think we all should know of, because we all will face it one day. THE REALITY OF MY UPCOMING SURGERY!
I was scheduled for surgery the 14th of March, but my cardiologist wouldn't sign off for the surgery until he first checked out my heart and coronary system, so, today I had an appointment with him. After his exam he agreed to the surgery, but, with some stipulations. The surgeon wanted me off of my blood thinner and aspirin for 10 days before surgery, but, my cardiologist put limits on that part. He said that he would rather that I only miss 5 days, and NOT to STOP my aspirin at all. The…See More

MARTY WHIDDON'S HOME-GOING CELEBRATION!
Marty's Home-Going Celebration was held Monday, March 5th, 2012 at 2:30 PM CST, at Ward/Wilson Funeral Home in Dothan, Alabama. It was good to see old friends again that were a part of our lives at Napier Baptist Church. The red roses that draped his Casket reminded us of the beautiful view he was experiencing in Heaven. - About Me:
- I am a disabled minister with 35 years full time service for my Lord. I am a Licensed and Ordained Minister of Southern Baptist Faith. I have an Associates degree from Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama. and attended Baptist Bible Institute in Graceville, Florida (Majored in Theology with a Minor in Music). The name of the college has changed to Florida Baptist College. I have served 12 Churches in my 35 years of service. I served 11 as Minister of Music and Youth Pastor, and I also pastored one church for 4 years. I became disabled in 2006 at the age of 56 years old. I was prescribe a power chair in 2009 to get around in and it was then that I felt led to start a new ministry with Cds. My voice is about the only part of my body left that is any good, so I started recording Cds as a tool to witness for my Lord.
