Tim Fountain serves as Associate Pastor and Pastor of the Worship Arts Ministries at Harvest Cathedral. Pastor Tim retired from the United States Air Force in January 2003 after serving 21 years. He was a member of the United States Air Force Band where he was the principal lead singer of several musical ensembles. His travels have taken him throughout the United States, Europe, Russia, and North and South America. As a vocalist, he recorded six compact discs while in the Air Force Band.
In 1985, while in the military, Tim received the call of God on his life to preach. He was serving as a Minister of Music in Louisiana at the time. In 1991, the military transferred him to Warner Robins, Georgia where he joined Harvest Cathedral in Macon. He received his license as a Minister of the Gospel in 1994 from Evangel Fellowship International. After retiring in 2003, he joined the staff of Harvest Cathedral full time and was ordained as Associate Pastor.
He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Alabama State University in vocal performance in 1981. He has a Master of Theology, Master of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology.
Pastor Tim provides pastoral leadership for the Performing Arts ministries which includes the praise teams, choir, band, drama and dance departments. He is the Worship Leader and works directly with the band and choir teaching music and providing spiritual oversight and guidance. He leads the 60 voice mass choir and is responsible for performance related events working with audio media production.
He is married to the love of his life, Bertha. Both of them were born in Alabama and currently reside in Warner Robins. They have two adult children and one grand child.
His first solo CD project “Turn on to God” was recorded at Omega Arts Studio in Macon, Georgia 2006 with his good friend Larry Howard as engineer and co-producer. This CD is a collection of songs from various musical styles; blues, jazz, gospel, and contemporary Christian. He has been singing publicly every since age 14. His musical influences have spanned from gospel quartets to collegiate opera productions. It’s his heart’s desire that when you hear this music it will bring you into an encounter with the presence of Jesus Christ and His love for you. May you be blessed as you listen.
