- If you’re looking for the story of the guy that knew early on in life what his calling was and followed it and lived happily ever after, you need to stop reading…This is not “That Story.”
Growing up in a Christian home, showered with love, living under a roof that housed a mother and father who are now celebrating their 60th year of marriage all seems to make for a perfect story. The problem is that growing up in what appears to be a perfect home does not guarantee a perfect life; anymore than being born into a Christian home guarantees entry into God’s Kingdom. There are choices that we are faced with; roads we must choose to travel down (or not) and decisions that cross our paths daily that test us to the core.
John spent the last 20 years of his life in Corporate America working for two large firms in sales and operational leadership as well as owning his own company. Through that time, he lived what appeared to be a "normal life.” Nice house, nice cars and 2.5 kids (the .5 being the pets in their life). All which seemed right was covered by a wonderful facade that hid the normal struggles we face in our lives today - personal, financial, emotional, spiritual and all things in between.
Within all the turmoil, the two constants that remained solid in his life were God’s enduring mercy, grace and call on John's heart, as well as the love and prayers from his wife, Cindy. Over the course of the last few years God continued to use life’s circumstances to humble John’s spirit and show him the true meaning behind Paul’s revelation that “…whatever was to my profit I now consider loss…I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ…I consider them rubbish that I may gain Christ and be found in him. I want to know Christ!”
In short, John spent the last 20 years of his life running from a calling that God placed on his heart at an early age. Today he lives his life with one simple goal – to share the Gospel of Christ with a lost world; to be used by God as an instrument and show that if you are willing to die to self daily, that God can use you to do great things for His Kingdom!
John is living proof that God does not call the qualified - He qualifies the called!

- While John's background is deeply rooted in Country and Southern Gospel Music, he uses a rich blend of musical styles and genres to touch the hearts of those in attendance and demonstrate that music truly is a universal language that speaks to people from all walks of life. His songs are used like a roadmap that has been filled with great joy and at times overwhelming frustration, to a point where God’s love has broken through to deliver not a perfect life – but a life that is lived for Him! From a life that seemed perfect to the world, to a point of ultimate decision to cease his running and "answer the call," John’s words will speak to the hearts of those in attendance to see that God did not create us to be spectators in life. God’s desire and plan is to use each one of us – the qualified and the unqualified – to spread the word of His saving grace and eternal life.

John, here is a sight I also use. The more people you are in contact with the better off you are because people are the key to any ministry for God. Romans 10: 9-10 (9) "If you confess with you mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead, you can be saved. (10) For with your heart you believe unto righteousness, and and with your mouth confession is made unto salvation." Verse 13 "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord, will be saved."
