After salvation, I lived the lifestyle as a "delilah", a carnal Christian who had no "fruit" because I walked in the ways of the world. My testimony is posted at: www.delilahclark.com, click on "Delilah's Story" and read chapters 1-5 of "My LIfe." After receiving the baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire, my spiritual rebirth name became DEVORA, and I sing for Jesus the Christ, aka Yahshua ha Moshiach, for He is my Lord and my Savior.
Devora, we thank you for blessing us with "My Tainted Heart". for the last 7 weeks it has gone from entering the chart at #5, (it skipped the Honorable Mention step) and just kinda leaped into the #5 spot.. then to #1 incredible! then it stayed on the chart for another 4 weeks.. we have been blessed with this song.. we are looking forward to the next offering from Devora. I like that other song that you suggested. Blessings... JB
El Shaddai, who would have thought that an old progression like C-Am-F-G could still be used in todays current range of songs for the Lord? .... I love it!!! Ok, I can see the progression as yours when you wrote but who's Idea was it to put that incredible heavy bass in there like that.. It just blows me Away! ... Thanks for letting me know about El Shaddai...
Is it on the list here at Indie Gospel so I can bring it over to my new list next week? In Him James
I really like your sound! This is so smooth and relaxing. Songs to sit back, relax, and clear your mind to. Great vocals and production. Great for film and television. Keep up the great work! Peace and Blessings
hey, I am an artist too! lol So is my wife, Marty Clayton Banfield, and yes there are a lot of good artists that have joined up with Indie Gospel Artists. It is so awesome to have the opportunity to have my own Top Ten list So that I can say, hey I think these people deserve to be heard, they stepped up the level of their work and it shows. What I, personally am trying to do is get the artists that are just starting or getting their feet wet by stepping out and actually recording some of their material to "Raise The Bar". I have seen several of the artists just in this group alone, who their first songs sounded like a garage recording in the bathroom, to something that was really good. They grabbed the bull by the horns and stepped out and did better. I applaud that when they do do that. Your song, is a tremendously awesome song. "My Tainted Heart" has a smoothness to it, harmony with the violin, and excellent guitar work, the voice blends into the work of the guitar, but when the second voice comes in, it just takes over. But what is the strongest is the lyrics of the song. And the whole song, instrumentation, accompaniment, it all is built around the lyrics. This is a good song. My compliments on the whoever did the Mixdown.. Blessings to you and your career with serving the Lord in song. In Him James
Oh I just found that there are two mixes on "My Tainted Heart".. the Dance Mix and the regular dynamite mix that is haunting. I love the guitar work and the accompanying violin, along with harmony voices.. its just perfect.. please let us know when you have this mix loaded up here on your page. Thank You, Wow... what a cut! James
