Uploading Videos

When you are on the Videos page, look for the +ADD link. From your own page look for the Add Videos link.

There is a Java Script uploader that is full featured and allows multiple simultaneous uploads. If your computer is incompatible with that, switch to the simple unloader.

You can also skip uploading and link to external videos such as at youtube, Vimeo, etc. They will be indexed and sharable here for your promotions. For that, on the video upload page just go bottom left and click where it says:

We feature videos created by our Indie (Independent) artists. All others are quite welcome but will be left in the general (All Videos) section. This goes for videos with sound tracks from major artists, sermons, and other topical videos.

You can also start a group (in our groups section) and embed thousands of non-Indie artist videos there, if you wish.

If you are posting a video with graphic content (scenes of war, starvation, violence, etc.) please put a warning in the video's description (edit video button), so that people won't play it when young children are present. This is a family friendly site!

To get your video looking its best Ning suggests using the "iPod video" format. This is h.264 mp4 with AAC audio. Also, use the size 426x324. They say, this will give you the sharpest look. Ning also supports .mov, .mpg, .avi, .3gp and .wmv video formats.
